Experience Summary

  • 1962 - 1969: A professor in the Civil Engineering Department at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan.
  • 1969 - 1978: A consulting engineer for D'Appolonia Consulting Engineers, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Projects included structural foundation analysis and design, vibrations of structures, machinery and foundations, and seismic analysis of structures and equipment.
  • 1974 - 1976: Senior Consulting Engineer for D'Appolonia Consulting Engineers in Brussels, Belgium
  • 1978 - 1999: Stone & Webster Engineering, Boston, Massachusetts. Managed the Advanced Measurements and Diagnostic Services Group to provide services for vibration and failure analysis of mechanical equipment and field testing to document machinery performance.
  • 1999 to Present: Dr. Hall is currently an Adjunct Professor in the Mechanical and Civil Engineering Departments at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
